Message Formatting:
All messages that are available for the receiver to play are stored on an industry standard USB ash drive.
Messagesmustbelabeledcorrectlysotheywillautomaticallybeplacedintovirtualmessage“slots”ontheunit.
There are three different type of message slots:
1.TriggeredMessageSlots–Thesemessagesresideinslots1to128oftheUSBashdriveandareactivated
instantly when a 433MHz signal is received from a transmitter.
2.CountedMessageSlots-Thesemessagesresideinslots129–198oftheUSBashdriveandareactivated
whenapresetcountisexceedwithinaspecicamountoftime.
3.TimedMessageSlots–Thesemessagesresideinslots199–255oftheUSBashdriveandareactivatedbya
built-in timer circuit.
MessagesMUSTbelabeledinthefollowingmanner:“slot_position_number”.mp3
Forexample,ifyouwantedalenamed“mens_razor.mp3”putintosloteight,thenitwouldneedtorenamedas
le“8.mp3”.
AtypicallistofmessagesontheUSBashdrivewouldlooklikethis:

Message Encryption:
BeforeanymessagescanbeputontotheUSBashdrivetheymustbeencryptedusingaspecialprogramcalled
Sonocrypt3.exe.
Step 1: Create a folder and place both the MP3 les you want to convert to SC3’s and the Sonocrypt3.exe
conversion tool inside it.Youwill need your computer to display le extensions, so this feature needs to be
enabled.
Step2:GointotheMP3folderandclickon“Tools”then“FolderOptions”.
Step3:Clickonthe“View”tabthenuncheckthe“HideFileExtensions”.Clickon“Apply”and“OK”.
Step4:DoubleClickontheSonoCrypt3.exeiconandtheprogramwillbeginconvertingyourles.Itplacesthem
inthesamefolderasyourMP3les.Oncecomplete,moveONLYtheleswiththeSC3extension’stotheUSB
ashdrive.
