3. 3 Connect to computer
Transfer the data on your phone to your computer or transfer the data on your computer to your phone.
Select the USB connection mode
Swipe down from the status bar to open the Notification Panel, tap USB charging this device to expand the
notification and tap it to choose the USB connection modes.
You can choose from the following USB connection modes:
Charge this device: Charge your phone only.
Transfer files: Transfer files between your phone and the computer.
Transfer photos (PTP): Transfer images between your phone and the computer.
Use device as MIDI: Use your phone as a MIDI input device and play MIDI files on the computer.
3. 4 Bluetooth
You can share data on your phone with other devices using Bluetooth. And you can use Bluetooth to connect
your phone to Bluetooth headsets and in-car Bluetooth to navigate or listen to music while you drive. You can
also connect your phone to Bluetooth wearables to record and manage fitness data.
Enable Bluetooth
You can turn on your Bluetooth screen in following ways:
Swipe down twice from the status bar to open the Quick Settings Panel and tap Bluetooth.
Swipe down twice from the status bar to open the Quick Settings Panel and tap of Bluetooth, then
the switch will be turned on automatically.
Swipe down twice from the status bar to open the Quick Settings Panel, then touch and hold Bluetooth
to go to the Bluetooth screen. Turn on the switch.
Swipe down twice from the status bar to open the Quick Settings Panel. Tap of Bluetooth and then
tap MORE SETTINGS to go to the Bluetooth screen. Turn on the switch.
On the Home screen, go to Settings -> Connected devices -> Bluetooth. Then turn on the switch.
Pair your phone with another device
1. Enable Bluetooch and then tap Pair new device on the Bluethooth screen. Your phone will automatically
list available devices. If the device you want to pair with is not displayed, swipe down to refresh available
devices list, or check whether the device is discoverable.
2. Select the device you want to pair with and follow the onscreen instructions to finish connecting.
Manage paired devices
On the Paired devices list, tap the icon next to the paired device to configure followings things:
Rename paired devices: Enter the new name in the name field and tap OK to save your configuration.
Manage permissions: Check or uncheck the premission on the Use for list and tap OK to save your
configuration.
Unpair Bluetooth devices: Tap FORGET.
Send and receive files using Bluetooth
Check that both devices are paired before attempting to transfer files.
Send files: Tap the file you want to send and tap > Bluetooth. Your device will automatically search
for nearby devices. Select the receiving device.
