The hotplates
When you switch on the hob, lights surrounding the
hobs light up. These lights are considered to be
ZoneLight lights. After you have placed one or more
pots on the hob, the lights on the cooking zones being
used light up.
You can find out how to make the ZoneLight lights
switch on permanently in the section entitled ~ "Basic
settings".
Residual heat indicators
The hob has two residual heat indicators for every
cooking zone. These indicators show that the cooking
zone is still hot. Do not touch the cooking zone while
the indicators are still lit or immediately after they have
gone out.
Depending on the amount of residual heat, the following
is shown:
display: High temperature
œ display: Low temperature
If you remove the pot from the cooking zone during
cooking, the residual heat indicator and the selected
power level flash alternately.
If you switch off the cooking zone, the residual heat
indicator lights up. If the hob has already been switched
off, the residual heat indicator remains lit for as long as
the cooking zone remains warm.
If you switch off the cooking zone, the ZoneLight lights
light up and the residual heat is displayed.
