Step 2.1: Connect your hob to your
WLAN home network (Wi-Fi) with WPS
Please enter step 2.1 only when prompted to by the app.
The following steps describe operations at the home
appliance itself.

1. Touch the 0 sensor and then select
option 4 MyProfile, to open the basic settings.
2. Touch the "Home Connect" setting.
3. Touch "Use assistant to configure settings" to launch
the Home Connect assistant.
You will be asked to press the WPS button on your
router.
4. Select "WPS not supported".
5. Read the message and touch "Start" to continue.
6. Open the network settings on your mobile device
and use the SSID "Home Connect" and the key
"Home Connect" to log your mobile device into the
hob network.
Note: If it is unable to connect, relaunch the
assistant and manually log the appliance into your
home network.
7. Follow the prompt in the app and enter the name
and password for your home network (Wi-Fi).
A message will appear to say that the appliance can
now be connected to the app.
8. Touch "Next" to begin the process of connecting to
the app.
Once the login process is complete, a message will
appear to say that it has been successful. The
D symbol will appear in the main area on the control
panel.

3 | Touch "Use wizard to cong. settings" to launch the
HomeConnect assistant.
4 | Read the message and touch "Next" to continue.
5 | Activate the WPS function on your home network router
within the next 2 minutes.
After a few seconds, a message is displayed to conrm
that the connection process was successful. The hob is
connected to your WLAN home network (Wi-Fi).
The app will get notied once your hob has been successfully
connected to your WLAN home network (Wi-Fi).
6 | Follow the instructions in the app.
Information:
If the connection could not be established within 2
minutes, make sure your hob is within the range of
your WLAN home network (Wi-Fi).
For some appliances the WPS mode is also called
"automatic mode".
