Unrestricted operation is possible if the vapour extractor hood is operated exclusively in the circulating-air mode.

en Operating the appliance Fan run-on time Saturation display Switching on Touch the ( symbol while the fan is running at fan setting 1. The fan will run at fan setting 1. The fan will switch off automatically after approximately 10 minutes. If the metal grease filters or the activated charcoal filter are/is saturated, the corresponding symbols flashes after the appliance is switched off: Switching off Touch the ) symbol to select a different fan setting. This immediately stops the fan run-on.
Connecting to a hob eConnecting to a hob You can connect this appliance to a hob and then control the functions of the hood via your hob. Appliances can be connected to each other in different ways: Connecting appliances directly If the appliance is connected directly to a hob, it cannot be connected to your home network as well. The appliance works like an extractor hood that is not connected to the network and you can continue to operate it via the control panel.
en Home Connect oHome Connect This appliance can be networked and also controlled using a mobile device. If the appliance is not connected to your home network, it will function as an extractor hood with no network connection and can still be operated via the display. The availability of the Home Connect function depends on the availability of Home Connect services in your country. Home Connect services are not available in every country. You can find more information on this at www.home-connect.com.
Home Connect Connecting to the app If the Home Connect app is installed on your mobile device, you can connect it to your extractor hood. Notes The appliance must be connected to the network. ■ The app must be open. ■ 1. Press and hold the # and ˜ symbols at the same time until the D and „ indicators start flashing. 2. On your mobile device, follow the instructions in the Home Connect app.

The exhaust air must not be conveyed into a functioning smoke or exhaust gas flue or into a shaft which is used to ventilate installation rooms that contain heating appliances. If the exhaust air is to be conveyed into a non-functioning smoke or exhaust gas flue, you must obtain the consent of the heating engineer responsible.

The wall plugs must have a secure grip. The enclosed screws and wall plugs are suitable for solid brickwork. Suitable fasteners must be used for other structures (e.g. plasterboard, porous concrete, poroton bricks). The max. weight of the extractor hood is 50 kg.

Exhaust-air pipe Ø 150 mm (recommended size) Attach the exhaust-air pipe directly to the air-pipe connector and seal. 1. Separate the flue ducts. Exhaust-air pipe Ø 120 mm 1. Attach the reducing connector directly to the air-pipe connector. 2. Attach the exhaust air pipe to the reducing connector. 3. Seal both joints appropriately.
