Environmental protection and saving energy Using oven cleaner in a hot cooking compartment damages the enamel. ▶ Never use oven cleaner in the cooking compartment when it is still warm. ▶ Remove all food remnants from the cooking compartment and the appliance door before you next heat up the appliance. If the seal is very dirty, the appliance door will no longer close properly during operation. This may damage the front of adjacent kitchen units. ▶ Keep the seal clean at all times.

Steam en Steam Sous-vide With the "Steam" heating function, the food is enveloped by hot steam, which helps to retain the nutrients. This cooking method also helps to retain the shape, colour and typical flavour of the food. "Sous-vide" is a type of low-temperature cooking during which vacuum-sealed food is cooked at temperatures between 50 and 95 °C and with 100% steam. Sousvide is suitable for meat, fish, vegetables and desserts.

Thick pieces of meat Insert the meat probe diagonally into the meat from above, pushing it in as far as possible. Poultry Insert the meat probe into the thickest part of the breast, pushing it in as far as possible.

Home Connect en 17 Home Connect This appliance is network-capable. Connecting your appliance to a mobile device lets you control its functions via the Home Connect app, adjust its basic settings and monitor its operating status. The Home Connect services are not available in every country. The availability of the Home Connect function depends on the availability of Home Connect services in your country. Cleaning recommendation The appliance records the type and duration of the operation and, if required, recommends which cleaning function to use. When you switch on the appliance, a notification appears in the display stating that you should use the cleaning function.

The shelf supports get very hot ▶ Never touch the shelf supports when hot. ▶ Always allow the appliance to cool down. ▶ Keep children at a safe distance. 1. Lift the rail forwards slightly and detach it . 2. Pull the whole rail to the front and remove it. 20.
en Appliance door 3. WARNING ‒ Risk of injury! The distance between the lower edge of the front pane and the unit changes when the door is opened and closed, and you may be trapped. ▶ Open the doors carefully. Take hold of the bottom left and right of the front pane, and push it upwards until it is released. 4. Note: If you are unable to release the front pane, check whether the front pane is touching the handle. If it is, open the appliance door a little further until the front pane is released.
Troubleshooting 2. Press down on the seal along the drip trough since this may become detached during cleaning. 3. Open the appliance door approx. 45° and wedge a tea towel into the appliance door so that the appliance door remains open. 4. en Troubleshooting Fault The appliance is not heating; appears on the display. Cause and troubleshooting Demo mode is activated in the basic settings. 1. Briefly disconnect the appliance from the power supply by switching the circuit breaker in the fuse box off and then on again. 2. Deactivate Demo mode within the next 3 minutes in the → "Basic settings", Page 24. There has been a power cut. ▶ Open and close the appliance door once after a power failure.
Disposal Fault Buttons are flashing. "Plopping" sounds can be heard when cooking with steam. The appliance hums during operation and after it is switched off. The appliance hums or clicks when the control panel is opened. The interior lighting does not work. Maximum operating time reached. A message with "D" or "E" appears in the display, e.g. D0111 or E0111. The cooking result is not satisfactory. en Cause and troubleshooting Condensation has formed behind the control panel. No action required.
