Requirements

in order to set the microwave programme.

a The recommended shelf position and cookware are

a Once the cooking time has elapsed, an audible sig-
nal sounds and the appliance stops heating.

10.4 Extending the cooking time

Use the ⁠button to select "Extend cooking time".
2.
Use the ⁠ or ⁠button to change the settings, if re-
quired.
3.
Press ⁠ to start the appliance again for the extra
cooking time.
11  Baking and roasting assistant
The baking and roasting assistant helps you to use
your appliance to cook various dishes by suggesting
the optimal settings.
The baking and roasting assistant helps you to make
classic cakes, bread and roasts. The appliance selects
the optimal heating function for you. The default tem-
perature and cooking time can be changed according
to your requirements.
11.1 Overview of available foods
You can choose from the following foods:

¡ Victoria sponge cake
¡ Victoria sponge cake, on two levels
¡ Swiss roll
¡ Jam tarts
¡ Jam tarts, on two levels

11.2 Configuring the baking and roasting
assistant
Note:Use fresh and, ideally, chilled food. Use frozen
food straight from the freezer.
Requirement:The cooking compartment must have
cooled down.

Use the ⁠ or ⁠button to select the "Baking and roast-
ing assistant" ⁠.

Use the ⁠button to navigate to the next row.
5.
Use the ⁠ or ⁠button to select the required category.

Use the ⁠button to navigate to the next row.

Use the ⁠ or ⁠button to select the required food.

Use the ⁠button to navigate to the next row.
a The recommended settings will appear on the dis-
play.

Note:Additional information cannot be selected for
all foods.
Use the ⁠button to view additional information.
a Additional information will appear, for example re-
garding which shelf position, accessories or cook-
ware you should use or when you should turn or stir
your food or add liquid.

Use the ⁠button to navigate back to the recommen-
ded settings.
11.
Use the ⁠button to adjust the temperature or cook-
ing time, if required.
Use the ⁠ or ⁠button to select the temperature
or cooking time.
Use the ⁠ or ⁠button to change the setting.
12.
Press ⁠ to start the baking and roasting assistant.
a Some food needs to be turned or stirred. An audible
signal will sound and a notification will appear on
the display to let you know when it is time to turn or
stir your food.
a Once the duration has elapsed, an audible signal
will sound and the appliance will stop heating.

Note:Some programs allow you to extend the cook-
ing time.
