4.6 Appliance door
If you open the appliance door while the appliance is in
operation, this pauses operation. When you close the
appliance door, operation will resume automatically.
Tip:With certain heating functions, the appliance will
continue to run even if you open the appliance door.
5 Accessories
Use original accessories. These have been made espe-
cially for your appliance.
Note:Accessories may become deformed if they get
hot. Deformation has no effect on function. As the ac-
cessory cools down, it will regain its original shape.
The accessories supplied may differ depending on the
appliance model.

5.1 Locking function
The locking function prevents the accessories from tilt-
ing when they are pulled out.
You can pull out the accessories approximately halfway
without them tipping. The accessories must be inserted
into the cooking compartment correctly for the tilt pro-
tection to work properly.
5.2 Inserting the steaming tray
ATTENTION!
A build-up of heat damages the appliance.
▶ Never place accessories, foil, greaseproof paper or
ovenware on the cooking compartment floor.
▶ Never cover the cooking compartment floor with any
type of foil.
▶ Keep the cooking compartment floor and the evap-
orator tray clear.
▶ Always place the cookware in a perforated cooking
container.

Rotate the steaming tray such that the latching
cutout is towards the rear and its shape is point-
ing upwards.
