7.5 Refilling the water tank
If the water tank runs dry during operation, steaming
will be paused.
1.
Open the appliance door carefully.
2.
Remove the water tank from the tank recess.
3.
Fill the water tank with water.
4.
Slot the full water tank back into the water tank re-
cess.
5.
Close the appliance door.
6.
Press ⁠ to resume operation.
7.6 Setting the heating function and
temperature
When you switch on your appliance, the display will
suggest a heating function and temperature. If you wish
to use the suggested setting, you can start the appli-
ance immediately by pressing ⁠. If you wish to use a
different setting, you will need to change the values.
Requirement:The water tank contains sufficient water.
1.
Press ⁠ to switch the appliance on.
a The heating functions will then be displayed.
2.
Use the ⁠ or ⁠button to select the required heating
function.
3.
Use the ⁠button to navigate to the next row.
4.
Use the ⁠ or ⁠button to select the required temperat-
ure.
5.
Press ⁠.
a The appliance will now start.
Note:If you want to be taken directly to the main
menu ⁠ when you switch on the appliance, you can set
this by altering the "Operating mode on start-up" setting
in the basic settings.

7.7 “Fill water tank” message
If you select a heating function and the water tank is
only half full, the appliance will display the message
"Fill water tank".
If the water tank contains sufficient water for cooking,
start the appliance.
If the water tank does not contain sufficient water for
cooking, fill the water tank.

7.8 Heat-up indicator
When you start a heating function, the heat-up indicator
will appear on the display. The heat-up indicator visual-
ises the rising temperature in the cooking compart-
ment.
Note:If the Steam ⁠ heating function has been set, the
heat-up indicator will not be displayed.
7.9 Displaying the current temperature
You can display the current temperature while the ap-
pliance is heating up.

7.10 Pausing operation
Requirement:The appliance is in operation.

Press ⁠.
Note:If you open the appliance door while the appli-
ance is in operation, the appliance will stop. When you
close the appliance door, the appliance will resume op-
eration.
7.11 Changing settings during operation
1.
To pause operation, press ⁠.
a The fan may continue to run after operation has
been paused or stopped.
2.
Use the ⁠ or ⁠button to navigate to the row with
the setting that you want to change.
3.
Press ⁠ or ⁠ to change the setting.
4.
To resume appliance operation with the new setting,
press ⁠.
7.12 Cancelling operation
Note:You cannot abort the descaling process.

Press and hold the ⁠button until the appliance
stops.
a The fan may continue to run after operation has
been paused or stopped.
7.13 After using the Steam function
When you use the appliance, moisture and food rem-
nants remain in the cooking compartment afterwards.
Dry and clean the appliance after each use. Empty the
water tank.
