Ring cake with walnuts and marzipan

Ring cake tin
MIXTURE:
100 g butter
100 g sugar
2 egg yolks
1 egg
500 g flour
2 sachets dried yeast
1 pinch salt
250 ml milk
A few drops of bitter almond oil
2 tbsp rum
50 g raisins or 100 g dried cranberries
25 g lemon peel, very finely chopped
25 g orange peel, very finely chopped
100 g walnuts, roughly chopped
100 g marzipan, finely chopped
IN ADDITION:
Butter for greasing
Breadcrumbs for sprinkling
Icing sugar for dusting

PREPARATION
1. Grease the tin well and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
2. Beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg yolk and egg.
3. Mix flour and yeast in a bowl and add 1 pinch of salt. Stir into the egg mixture using milk and bitter
almond oil alternately. Add the rum.
4. Knead the dough well until it is smooth and glossy. Add the remaining ingredients and knead them
in briefly.
5. Then, roll up on the flour-covered work surface, place into the prepared tin and leave to prove for
approx. 50 minutes in a warm place.
6. Bake the cake as indicated.
7. Turn the ring cake out of the tin and leave to cool down. Sprinkle with icing sugar.

Tip:
You can also leave the dough to prove in the
oven. To do so, set cooking mode 1.
