Chapter 7Troubleshooting
Print Quality Problems
Printout too light The Toner Den-
sity setting of
the printer driver
may be too light,
or the Toner
Save setting is
set to On.
Change the setting and try
printing again.
The toner car-
tridge may be
running out of
toner.
Remove the toner cartridge
and rock it left and right a few
times to distribute remaining
toner.
If the problem persists,
replace the toner cartridge.

details.
The toner car-
tridge may be
defective.
Remove the toner cartridge
and check it for damage.
Replace the toner cartridge if
