Thissectiondescribesthesimplemaintenanceproceduresyoushouldfollowtocleantheltersandreplacethelamp.
Cleaning or Replacing the Filter
Theair-lterspongekeepsdustanddirtfromgettinginsidetheprojectorandshouldbefrequentlycleaned.Ifthe
lterisdirtyorclogged,yourprojectormayoverheat.
NOTE: The message for filter cleaning will be displayed for one minute when the projector is turned on or off.
To cancel the message, press any button on the projector cabinet or the remote control.
CAUTION
• Turnofftheprojector,turnoffthemainpowerswitchandunplugtheprojectorbeforereplacingthelter.
• Onlycleantheoutsideoftheltercoverwithavacuumcleaner.
• Donotattempttooperatetheprojectorwithouttheltercover.
Tocleantheair-lter:
Vacuumthelter-throughtheltercover.
Toresetthelterusagetime,fromthemenu,select[RESET]
→
[CLEARFILTERHOURS].

Toreplacethelter(sponge):
CAUTION
• Replacebothltersatthesametime.
• Beforereplacingthelters,removedustanddirtfromtheprojectorcabinet.
• Theprojectorcontainshigh-precisionparts.Keepoutdustanddirtduringlterreplacement.
• Donotwashthelterwithwater.Waterwilldamagetheltermembrane.
• Reattachtheltercovercorrectly.Failuretodosomaycauseprojectormalfunction.
Preparation:Replacethelampbeforereplacingthelters.
NOTE: When you replace the lamp, it is also wise to replace the filter. The filter comes in the same package with your replacement lamp.
