Turning off the Projector
Toturnofftheprojector:
3. Projecting an Image (Basic Operation)
1. Press the POWER (ON/STAND BY) button on the projector cabi-
net or the POWER OFF button on the remote control.
The[POWEROFF/AREYOUSURE?/CARBONSAVINGS-SES-
SION0.000[g-CO2]]messagewillappear.
2. Press the ENTER button or press the POWER(ON/STAND BY) or
the POWER OFF button again.
Thelamp willturn offand the projector will go into standbymode.
Wheninstandbymode,thePOWERindicatorwilllightorangeand
theSTATUSindicatorwilllightgreenwhen[NORMAL]isselectedfor
[STANDBY MODE]. Immediately after turning on the projector and
displaying an image, you cannot turn off the projector for 60 sec-
onds.
3. Turn off the Main Power Switch.
Thepowerindicatorwillgoout.
AboutDirectPowerOff
Theprojectorhasafeaturecalled“DirectPowerOff”.Thisfeature
allowstheprojectortobeturnedoff(evenwhenprojectinganim-
age)usingtheMainPowerSwitchordisconnectingtheACpower
supply.
NOTE: Before using Direct Power Off, be sure to allow at least 20 minutes
immediately after turning on the projector and starting to display an image.
CAUTION
• Donotunplug the powercablefrom the walloutlet or projector
whentheprojectorispoweredon.Doingsocancausedamage
totheACINconnectoroftheprojectorand(or)theprongplugof
thepowercable.ToturnofftheACpowersupplywhentheprojec-
torispoweredon,usetheMainPowerSwitch.
• DonotturnofftheACpowersupplywithin10secondsofmaking
adjustmentorsettingchangesandclosingthemenu.
Doingsocancauselossofadjustmentsandsettingsandreturn
todefault.

After Use
Preparation: Makesurethatthemainpoweristurnedoff.
1. Unplug the power cable.
2. Disconnect any other cables.
3. Retract adjustable tilt feet if extended.
4. Cover the lens with the lens cap.
