Self Calibration
Calibrates the integrated front sensor based on the USB color sensor*

. Or to manually adjust the integrated front sensor with
an external near range color analyzer reference, which is traceable to a primary standards laboratory. All PICTURE MODES are
updated when Self Calibration is performed.
NOTE: AUTO CALIB. mode requires connecting the USB color sensor to the sensor port*

EXPERT CALIB. mode requires an external near range color analyzer.
1. To show the CALIBRATION menu, plug-in the USB color sensor to the sensor port (Figure S.1)*

or select STAND ALONE
CALIBRATION in the advanced menu (page 25).
2. Use “LEFT” or “RIGHT” to select SELF in the MODE selection (Figure S.2). Press “UP” or “DOWN” to move to the next
selection.

] Make sure that the USB color sensor is connected to the sensor port.
4. The procedure will ask for the USB color sensor to be placed on the center of the display panel (Figure S.3). Tilt the display
panel approximately 5° backward and place the USB color sensor in the center of the display panel (Figure S.1).
NOTE: Place the USB color sensor fl at against the LCD to avoid any infl uence of ambient light.
DO NOT press the USB color sensor against the display panel.
NOTE: Make sure that the USB color sensor cable is positioned to avoid blocking the ambient light and human sensors.
Press “SELECT” to start the calibration.
Go to step 8.
