NEC ESMPRO Manager Setup Guide

-"Subnet Mask1"

Enter the subnet mask that is specified on LAN of the iAMT configuration for the managed

component.

(1)-(d) Click "Add".

(1)-(e) Click the "Connection Setting" from "Setting" tab of the managed component.

Click "Check Connection" to collect the managed component information for the management.

When the "Check Connection" is completed, the NEC ESMPRO Manager starts to control the

managed component.

(2) Auto Registration

(2)-(a) Click the group name to which the managed component based on vPro will belong on the

"Component List" or the "Group" tree.

(2)-(b) Click the "Auto Registration" from "Add Component" of the "Group Information" tab.

(2)-(c) Input the following items to search managed components based on vPro:

--"Search Mode"

With "Network Address Search", enter the network address and network mask.

With "IP Address Range Search", enter the "start address" and "end address" of the IP address range.

--"System management"

-"Search"

Select "Enable" to manage the system of the component.

--"RAID system management"

-"Search"

Select "Enable" to manage the RAID system of the component.

--"NEC ExpressUpdate"

-"Search"

Select "Enable" to manage the component using NEC ExpressUpdate.

--"Management controller management"

-"Search"

Select "Enable" to manage the "Management controller" of the component.

(2)-(d) Click "Search".

The search for managed components will start.
