[PXE Service]
The following services is installed when you select "PXE Service" on the installation.
Service Name Process Name Function
ESMPRO/SM PXE Agent Service PxeAgent.exe Command execution from the main service
ESMPRO/SM PXE TFTP Service RMVtfldr.exe A file transfer to the managed server
ESMPRO/SM PXE BINL Service RMVBINLS.exe The boot of the managed server
ESMPRO/SM PXE Main Service RMVAUTH.exe PXE Service main service
 Procedures to start or stop services.
To start or stop services, perform the following procedure with the services of NEC ESMPRO Manager started.
♦Start procedure
1. Start ESMPRO/SM PXE Agent Service from [Administrative Tools] - [Service].
2. After logging on NEC ESMPRO Manager, start the PXE Service from the Linkage Service of the header
menu. (*)
The following services start.
ESMPRO/SM PXE TFTP Service
ESMPRO/SM PXE BINL Service
ESMPRO/SM PXE Main Service
♦Stop procedure
1. After logging on NEC ESMPRO Manager, stop the PXE Service form the Linkage Service of the header
menu.(*)
The following services stop.
ESMPRO/SM PXE TFTP Service
ESMPRO/SM PXE BINL Service
ESMPRO/SM PXE Main Service
2. Stop ESMPRO/SM PXE Agent Service from [Administrative Tools] - [Service].
* If you start or stop the services from [Administrative Tools] - [Service], they do not function properly. They may
have stopped according to the settings.
