Tips
• A dedicated line cannot be directly connected to the serial port connector.
• 2 ports USB connectors at the rear of the server are supplied with power even
when DC power is off.
Note the following precautions to connect cables.
• When the device is not Plug and Play device, turn off the server and devices before connecting.
• If connecting any peripheral device and its interface cable made by other companies (a third party),
contact your sales representative to check if they can be used with the server beforehand.
• Fix the power cord or interface cable with cable ties.
• Make sure that no pressure is applied on the plug of power cord.
• If you connect an external USB DVD-ROM drive to a USB connector at the front of the server, do not
connect any other device to the adjacent USB port. See the figure below.
