User Account Control
On Windows Vista / Windows Server 2008 or later system that the User Account Control is turned on, if you start the
NEC ESMPRO Agent Control Panel or collect.exe program, the [User Account Control] dialog box will appear. Click
[Continue] button to start the program.
The number of mouse buttons
On Windows Vista / Windows Server 2008 or later system, the value of "Buttons" item of Mouse Information of the
[Information of server state/constitution] of NEC ESMPRO Manager is "Unknown".
Monitoring CPU Load Factor
On Windows Vista / Windows Server 2008 or later, a memory leak may occur when you acquire the CPU load
factor due to problems with the OS.
If you do not monitor the CPU load factor, remove the module to monitor the CPU load factor by following the
procedure below.
1. From Control Panel, Double-click [Administrative Tools] - [Service].
2. Right-click [ESMCommonSerivce] and click [Stop].
3. Change the file name "%SystemRoot%¥system32¥cpuperf.esr" as follows.
"cpuperf.esr" -> "cpuperf.bak"
* For x64 Edition, change the following file name.
"%SystemDrive%¥Windows¥SysWOW64¥cpuperf.esr"
4. Right-click [ESMCommonSerivce] and click [Start].
