Installing the SNMP Service

The installing of the SNMP Service is described below.
♦Notes installing the SNMP Service:
During OS installation, if the SNMP service is added to the system after applying the service package, apply
it again. If not, the SNMP service may not operate properly, and this can cause the improper operation of
NEC ESMPRO Agent.
♦Windows Server 2008 / Windows Server 2008 R2
1. Double-click [Programs and Features] in [Control Panel].
2. Click [Turn Windows features on or off].
"Server Manager" window appears.
3. Click [Features].
4. Click [Add Features].
"Add Features Wizard" appears.
5. Check the [SNMP Services] check box.
6. Click [Next].
7. Click [OK].
In the case of Windows Server 2008 Server Core / Windows Server 2008 R2 Server Core, execute the
following commands by the command prompt.
"Start /w ocsetup SNMP-SC"
SNMP Service is installed.
♦Windows Vista / Windows 7
1. Double-click [Programs and Features] in [Control Panel].
2. Click [Turn Windows features on or off].
3. Click the [SNMP feature] check box.
4. Click [OK].
