Removal
Take the following steps to remove a hard disk drive:
3.5-inch hard disk drive
NOTE:
If removing a failed hard disk drive, confirm the slot in which
the DISK LED of the hard disk drive is amber before starting the
removal.
1. See page 9-4 to prepare.
2. Unlock the front bezel with the security key, and remove the front bezel.
3. Push the lever to unlock, and open the handle.
IMPORTANT: Do not press the POWER switch during the
installation or removal of the hard disk drive if your server is running.
