Important
Use of external USB devices
If you connect an external USB DVD-ROM drive to a USB connector at the
front of the server, do not connect any other device to the adjacent USB port.
* The ports in a box in the images below are “adjacent USB ports”.
Important
 Turn off the server and peripheral devices to be connected before
connecting.
 Do not connect the third party device.
 Fix the power cord or interface cable with cable ties.
 When removing the server from the rack, disconnect the power cord and
interface cables.
 Make sure that no pressure is applied on the plug of power cord.
Note
If you connect a card to a line, use the card which you have applied for with the
certification authority.
Tips
A leased line cannot be directly connected to the serial port connector.
