Chapter 2 Preparations
Note
Chassis lock tab:
If the top cover is locked as shown in the figure below, remove the padlock.
7. Depending on the components to be installed or removed, follow the procedure in order.
Refer to Chapter 2 (1.7 Internal Flash Memory to 1.13 Optical Disk Drive).
8. Connect cables.
Refer to Chapter 2 (1.10.1 Connecting cables).
9. Attach the top cover.
Refer to Chapter 2 (1.19 Attaching the Top Cover).
10. Mount the server onto the rack.
Refer to Chapter 2 (2.1.2 (1) Installation).
11. Install Hard Disk Drives.
Refer to Chapter 2 (1.15 3.5-inch Hard Disk Drive or 1.16 2.5-inch Hard Disk Drive).
12. Attach the front bezel.
Refer to Chapter 2 (1.20 Attaching the Front Bezel).
