Setting for SNMP management
--“Management”
Select "Registration" to manage the component using NEC ESMPRO Agent with SNMP.
--“SNMP Community Name(Get)”
SNMP Community Name which is specified at SNMP Agent running on the managed component to
be managed.
--“SNMP Community Name(Set)”
When SNMP Community names for Get and Set are set separately on the component to be managed,
specify the SNMP Community name for Set in this field by alphanumeric characters. If it is not
specified, SNMP Community name for Get will be used.
Setting for “Management controller” management (Common)
--“Management"
If NEC ESMPRO Manager managed the IP address of the BMC on the managed component, select
"Registration".
-- “Authentication Key”
Enter the "authentication key" that you set in the "BMC configuration information" of the managed
component.
Setting for “Management controller” management (LAN)
--“Current IP Address”
If you have set both "IP Address1" and "IP Address2", specify the IP address you want to use for
connection.
--“Failover”
"Failover" is a function to continue communication by changing to the other IP address if
communication with the current IP address encounters an error. This setting is valid only when both
"IP Address1" and "IP Address2" have been set.
Determine whether to enable/disable the "Failover" function.
-- “IP address 1”
Enter the IP address that is specified on LAN1 of the BMC configuration for the managed
component.
--“Subnet Mask1”
Enter the subnet mask that is specified on LAN1 of the BMC configuration for the managed
component.
--“IP Address2”
Enter the IP address that is specified on LAN2 of the BMC configuration for the managed
component.
--“Subnet Mask2”
Enter the subnet mask that is specified on LAN2 of the BMC configuration for the managed
component.
