2.2.2.3 Configuring the IP address specified in Computer Information List File
Perform the following procedure.
(1) See 2.2.3.1” Create a configuration information file” to create a con
figuration information file.
IMPORTANT:
To use the configuration information file for NEC ESMPRO Manager PXE Service, there
are some different from the description of 2.2.3.1 ”Create a configuration in
formation file”
These items will not be set to the managed component.
- “Common” tab page
“Computer Name”
- “LAN1” tab page
“Obtain an IP Address automatically (DHCP)”
IP Address
- “LAN2” tab page
All items
The configuration file name and path name are not required specified names.
(2) To start NEC ESMPRO Manager PXE Service, click “Linkage Service” of “Tools” from the “header
menu” on the NEC ESMPRO Manager. Click “Start” on the “PXE Service” screen.
The NEC ESMPRO Manager PXE Service will start and be ready to accept network-boot requests.
(3) To register the configuration information file, open the “Configuration Information” screen of “Linkage
Service” from “Tools” on the NEC ESMPRO Manager. Specify the path name of the configuration
information file, and click “register”.
