(3) Click ” Auto Registration” tab. Input the following items:
-- “Search Mode”
With "Network Address Search" selected, the NEC ESMPRO Manager searches for the managed
components using the specified network address.
With "IP Address Range Search" selected, the NEC ESMPRO Manager searches for the managed
components using the IP address range.
-- “Network Address Search”
When you select "Network Address Search" for "Search Mode", specify the network address and
network mask of the managed component to be searched for.
IP Address Range Search
When you select "IP Address Range Search" for "Search Mode", specify the start IP address and end
IP address of the range in which managed components are to be searched for.
Common
--“Registration Group”
Specify the group to which the managed component will belong.
Setting for NEC ExpressUpdate
--“Search”
Select "Enable" to manage the component using Universal RAID Utility.
Setting for SNMP
--“Search”
Select "Enable" to manage the component using NEC ESMPRO Agent with SNMP.
Setting for "Management controller"
-- “Search”
Select "Enable" to manage the component using the IP address of the BMC.
-- “Features NEC ExpressUpdate”
Select "Enable" to Features NEC ExpressUpdate is used.
--“Authentication Key”
Enter the "authentication key" that you set in the "BMC configuration information" of the managed
component.
The search for the managed components will start.
The following screen is an example display with “IP Address Range Search” selected.
