Removing the Front Bezel (Option of R110d-1E)
Contact with the devices or switches at the front of the server can be avoided by installing the front bezel and
locking it with the security key attached.
If the server is mounted on a rack, the front bezel needs to be removed when turning the server on or off, or
handling an optical disk drive (the front bezel cannot be attached if the server is mounted on a desk).
Important
To open the front bezel, you must unlock it with the provided security key.
1. Insert the attached security key into the key slot and turn the key to the front bezel side while pressing
it lightly to release the lock.
2. Hold the right end of the front bezel carefully to pull it toward you.
3. Slide the front bezel to the left a little to release the tab from the frame and then remove the front
bezel from the server. (The example image shown is for a 2.5-inch Hard Disk Drive model.)
