Names and Functions of Parts
This section describes the names of the server parts.

Front View (Front Bezel option: N8146-20F)

(1) Front bezel
The cover to protect the front and top of the drive cover.
This cover can be locked with the provided security key.
(5) LINK/ACT LED (green)
This LED turns on
when the server is connected to the
network.
Sequential numbers 1 and 2 indicate LAN connectors 1 and
2, respectively.
(2) Key slot
The ke

he security key that is used to lock the front
bezel. (6) Unit ID (UID) LED (blue)
This LED turns on when the
UID switch is pressed.
Commands from the software also cause it to turn on or
flash.
(3) Power LED (green)
This LED lights green

n the power is ON.
(4) Disk access LED (green/amber)
This LED lights green wh
en the internal Hard Disk Drive is
being accessed.
An amber light turns on if a Hard Disk Drive is broken, and
a light flashes green and amber alternately when a Hard
Disk Drive is being rebuilt. (RAID System only)
(7) Status LED (green/amber)
This LED indicates the server status. It lights green wh
en
the server is operating normally. If an abnormality is
detected, it turns on or flashes amber.
