1. Click the [T ools] menu.
2. Select [Clear Recent History].
3. Select the [D etails] button.
4. Select the [C ache] checkbox.
5. Click the [C lear Now] button.
♦Setting a Windows Firewall
If the Windows Firewall is enabled, communication of the NEC ESMPRO Manager with a Web client and a m
anaged server will be interrupted and the system will not work correctly.
To use NEC ESMPRO Manager with the Windows Firewall enabled, open the r equired ports.
For ports used by NEC ESMPRO Manager, see "Appendix Port numbers / Protoco ls".
♦Use of two or more NEC ESMPRO Manager
A single managed server on th at "Management Controller" management is effective can be controlled remotely
by up to thr ee Management PC. F ollow these notes on the remote c ontrol.
Use only one NEC ESMPR O Manager to set/execute the scheduled running function and remote batch fu
nction.
While one NEC ESMPRO Man ager is u sing the rem ote console function of a mana ged server, the other
NEC ESMPRO Managers cannot use th e managed server's remote c onsole function.
More than one NEC ESMPRO Manager cannot collect IPMI information from the same managed server c
oncurrently.
Do not use more than one NEC ESMPRO Manager PXE Service. Start the NEC ESMPRO Manager PXE
Service on only one of Ma nagement PC on the s ame network.
One EM card must be ma naged by one NEC ESMPRO Manager. And plural EM cards and CPU blades
on the s ame chassis must be ma naged by one NEC ESMPRO Manager.
♦Power OFF, Power Cycle, Reset, and Dump
Since power control is pr ovided by hardware regardless of the st ate of the ma naged server's operating system,
the s ystem may be damaged. Be c areful of o peration under power control.
♦Power OFF, Power Cycle, Reset with the BIOS Setup Utility active
If you use the managed server integrated BMC, do not execute the Power Off, Power Cycle or Reset while t
he BIOS Setu p Utility is active on th e managed server. Otherwise, the alert settin g of BMC confi guration will
be disabled.
