11. When the [Basic information] window 
is displayed, confirm the information 
and correct it if necessary. Then press 
the ĺ key. (The “Target Machine” 
information on the window differs 
depending on the model.) 
ĺ key: Used to move to the next 
screen.
ĸ key: Used to return to the previous 
screen.
ĹĻ key: Used to select a menu. 
F1 key: Displays help. 
ENTER key: Used to select [OK] or to decide each item. 
ESC key: Used to select [Cancel]. 
IMPORTANT: 
 Allocate the partition to install the OS in the size that is bigger than the required 
minimum size. (See page 4-5.) 
 If you select [Use Existing Partition] in [System Partition], information about 
the first partition will be formatted and erased all. Information on other 
partitions will be retained. 
 If an existing hard disk drive partition that has been upgraded to the dynamic 
disk remains, you cannot reinstall OS (refer to page 4-14). Do not select [Use 
Existing Partition] in [System Partition]. 
 The file system of the system partition is fixed to be NTFS. 
 When you select [Use Existing Partition] in [System Partition], if the partition 
to be reused only exists (excluding the maintenance domain), reserve the 
maximum disk space and install Windows Server 2003. 
 You cannot move to the next window, if the contents that you have set are 
incorrect.
 In Express Setup, you cannot specify the details of network adapter. Specify 
them from Control Panel after starting Windows. 
 Detailed setting of the network adapter is not supported by Express Setup. Set it 
from Control Panel after starting Windows. 
12. When the [User Information] window 
is displayed, confirm the settings and 
move to the next screens. Correct the 
settings if necessary. Then press the ĺ
key. 
ĺ key: Used to move to the next 
screen.
ĸ key: Used to return to the previous screen.
