Troubleshooting 6-17 
About the Express Setup 
The following message appeared when installation has been attempted by using a hard disk drive 
whose size is smaller than the specified partition size: 
o The message does not mean there is a problem. Press the Enter key to continue the 
installation. 
The screen did not show image correctly while files were copied from the CD-ROM or the 
CD-ROM was being checked. 
o Press the R key. If the problem persists after you have press the R key for several times, 
start the Express Setup from the beginning again. If you still see the same result, contact 
your service agent to check the CD-ROM drive. 
Automatic installation halted asking you to enter the setup information. 
o The setup information you have configured is not correct. Enter correct values according 
to the message instructions. You do not need to cancel the installation. You may be 
required to press the Enter key again at the reboot at the end of a setup in Windows. 
[OK] appears on the [Role of Computer] window. 
o When you click [OK], in the rest of procedures, the default values of the Express Setup 
are automatically selected for the installation.

Protocol: TCP/IP [DHCP specified] 
Service: Selecting sharing files for Microsoft network and printer 
Client: client for Microsoft networks 
Component: SNMP 
Application: NEC ESMPRO Agent 
[OK] does not appear on the [Role of Computer] window. 
o [OK] does not appear if the setup information file that has been created is loaded.
o [OK] appears only when you have moved to the [Role of Computer] window. Once you 
have moved to the next window from the [Role of Computer] window, [OK] does not 
appear even if you use [Back]. 
The specified partition size has exceeded the capacity of the hard disk. The setup 
created the partition at the maximum size that can be reserved on the hard disk. 
Setup will continue the process.
