RAID System Configuration
This section describes the RAID configuration utility, the LSI Software RAID Configuration Utility.
Because this utility resides in LSI Embedded MegaRAID, its operation is independent of the OS.
4.1
Running the LSI Software RAID Configuration Utility
When the message below appears on the POST screen after turning on the server, press the <Ctrl> + <M>
keys or <Enter> key. The LSI Software RAID Configuration Utility starts.
Press Ctrl-M or Enter to run LSI Software RAID Configuration Utility
Tips
If you failed to perform the key operation as described above and the following screen did
not appear, restart the server and retry.
*1: In the menu screen shown above, x of LSI Software RAID Configuration Utility Verx.xx
indicates the utility version.
*2: mm dd, yyyy indicates the date when the utility was created.
*3: z of BIOS Version z.zz.zzzzzzzz indicates the version of the LSI Software RAID BIOS.
