(3) Error messages on a virtual LCD
In the EXPRESSSCOPE Engine 3 (BMC) web browser window, you can confirm virtual LCD error messages
(for details on the virtual LCD, refer to "EXPRESSSCOPE Engine 3 User’s Guide").
The table below shows the error messages displayed on upper and lower lines, the error contents, and actions
taken for the errors.

Memory in System
No available memory is
implemented.
Make sure that the memory is correctly implemented.
Memory
Reconfigured
A failed DIMM was detected and
degraded.
Run SETUP, select Advanced Memory
Configuration Memory Retest, and change
parameter to Yes. Then, select Save & Exit Save
Changes and Exit and restart the server. If the same
error persists, remove DIMM and install it again. If it
does not resolve your problem, contact your sales
representative.
Error Pause in POST
An error occurred during POST. Check the error message which appears on-screen,
and take the appropriate action for each error.
POST ERROR XXXX
Error XXXX was detected during
POST.

and take the appropriate action for each error.
Entering BIOS
SETUP MENU
Starting up BIOS SETUP MENU. This message will disappear when SETUP operation is
completed.
Waiting for normal
temperature
A temperature abnormality was
detected inside the server.
Lower the room temperature or turn off the power to
cool the server to room temperature before starting up
the server. If this abnormality continues to occur, check
if a fan has failed. If the same error still continues to
occur, contact your representative.
BIOS Updater
Running
BIOS update is in progress. Wait until BIOS update is completed.
