8. Dispose of the battery according to local ordinance. Observe the
CAUTIONS at the start of this procedure.
9. Remove the new lithium battery from its package, and being careful to
observe the correct polarity, insert it into the battery socket.
10. If applicable, reinstall the plastic cover on the lithium battery socket.
11. Reinstall the top cover following procedures described earlier in this
chapter.
12. Install the server into the rack following procedures described earlier in this
chapter.
13. Power on the server and verify POST displays no error messages.
14. Run the BIOS Setup to restore the configuration settings to the real-time
clock.
