Change BIOS settings
When you have done all of the above-mentioned preparations, follow the instructions below to
change this product’s BIOS settings (registering Boot device and enabling Boot BIOS).
16> Confirm that the CPU Blade system is properly connected to the Fiber Channel device. Then, turn
on the CPU Blade.
Hint
If the logo is displayed but the BIOS window is not, press the <ESC> key to
display it.
17> Hold the <Alt> key and press <E> while the following message is displayed. Then, the product’s
BIOS menu will appear.

Press <Alt E> To Go To Emulex BIOS Utility
Press <S> To Skip Emulex BIOS
Important
This product’s BIOS settings window consumes a lot of memory. Therefore,
depending on your environment (example.g., an expansion board is consuming a
lot of memory), this window may not be displayed or you may not be able to
change the settings. In this case, disable the extended ROM on the CPU Blade
or take other measures. Refer to the CPU Blade’s User’s Guide for information
on how to disable the extended ROM.
18> When the CPU Blade detects that the <Alt> and <E> keys are pressed, you will see the following
messages and the menu:

If the above menu is not displayed and the window has gone on to the next
one, press the <Alt>, <Ctrl>, and <Del> keys simultaneously to reboot the
CPU Blade. Then, follow the steps from the beginning.
