Bluetooth Settings

Settings for Your Handset

1. From idle mode, press the Center Select Key [MENU], select

Settings & Tools, then press the Center Select Key [OK].

2. Press  Bluetooth Menu.

3. Press the Right Soft Key [Options] to select one of the following

options:

To edit the Bluetooth

name of your phone, press  My

Phone Name. Enter a new custom name and then press the

Center Select Key [OK] to save and exit.

To set whether your handset is able to be searched for by other

Bluetooth

devices in the area, press  Discovery Mode.

Select On or Off, then press the Center Select Key [OK].

To view brief descriptions of the profiles supported by the phone,

press  Supported Profiles. Select one of the profiles, then

press the Center Select Key [VIEW].

NOTE

The profiles supported by the phone are as follows:

Headset: Supports use of a compatible Bluetooth headset for

mono voice.

Handsfree: Supports Bluetooth headsets, and may also support

other installed compatible Bluetooth devices with speakerphone

capabilities, such as car kits or a conference room device. For

Handsfree Car Kt Compatibility, refer to www.verizonwireless.com/

bluetoothchart on the Verizon Wireless website.

Dial Up Networking: Allows the phone to be used as a data

modem with a compatible Bluetooth device, such as a laptop

or PDA, over the VZW National Access and/or VZW Mobile

Broadband systems.

Stereo: Supports delivery of stereo audio to a compatible

Bluetooth device.
