When the Face Focus is selected from the Auto Focus, the
camera automatically detects and focuses on the face of the
subject. When the camera detects several faces, it automatically
selects and focuses on the relatively large face near the center.
When any face cannot be detected, the center of the display is
automatically measured and focused, same as when the Single
Point AF is selected.
Something other than human may be detected as a human face
with the Face Focus function.
A face may not be detected with the Face Focus function in the
following cases:
Too large or small face relative to the screen.
A face partly covered by hair, hat or glasses.
A face partly shadowed.
A face looking up or down, right or left, or tilted.
When the front display is used as a Viewfinder, only a part of the
actual shooting image can be seen.
When you turn off the camera, the Best Shot and Macro settings
return to Off.
When on the idle screen with the flip open, the Camera Key 
functions as a hot key to Take Picture.
When on the idle screen with the flip closed, the Camera/Video
Key  functions as a hot key to Take Picture.
With the flip closed, you can change from Take Picture mode to
Record Video mode by pressing the Camera/Video Key .

Record Video
In Record Video mode you can record video at 320 × 240 resolution
with sound.
1. From the Picture & Video submenu, press  Record Video.
