Getting Started with Your Phone
2. Insert the tip of the corner of
the Device Lock Tool marked
with the battery lock icon into
the groove of the screw type
battery lock and rotate in the
direction indicated by the arrow
in the illustration to the left.
Rotate the battery lock as far
as it will go towards the LOCK
position.

Rotate the battery lock as far
as it will go towards the FREE
position.
2. Remove the battery by pulling
up on the tab.
Do not twist the battery as shown in the
illustration. Doing so can damage the
phone and the battery.
