1. Press [MENU], 2 times, , .
2. Enter the four-digit lock code.
3. Press Edit Code.
Note
If Common Code is set to Off, press Device or Location.
If Location is selected, you will need to enter your lock code.
4. Enter the new four-digit code.
5. For confirmation, it will ask you to enter the new lock code again.
5.5.5 Emergency #s
Allows you to enter 3 emergency numbers. You can call these emergency
numbers and 911, even when the phone is locked or restricted.
1. Press [MENU], 2 times, , .
2. Enter the four-digit lock code.
3. Press Emergency #s.
4. Select emergency number using .
5. Enter an emergency phone number then press .

You can receive phone calls and still make emergency calls. You can
modify the lock code using the New Lock code within the Security menu.
1. Press [MENU], 2 times, , .
2. Enter the four-digit lock code.
3. Press Lock Mode.
4. Press Device or Location.
If Common Code is set to Off and Location is selected, you will need
to enter your lock code.
• Device
Lock The phone is always locked. When locked, you
can receive incoming calls and only make
emergency calls.
Unlock The phone is never locked (Lock mode can be
used).
On Power Up The phone is locked when it is turned on.
• Location
Lock When the phone is locked, it will ask for the lock
code to enter the Location screen.
Unlock When the phone is unlocked, it will not ask for
the lock code to enter the Location screen.
