NOTE

The text entry mode you select also applies to the Notepad and the

Calendar.

Message Settings Sub-Menu Descriptions

1. Auto save

With this feature on, text messages are automatically saved in Sent

when transmitted.

2. Auto erase

With this feature on, read/unlocked messages are automatically

deleted when you exceed the storage limit.

3. TXT-Auto View

Allows you to directly display the content when receiving a message in

the Idle screen.

4. PIX-Auto Receive

Allows you to directly download the content when receiving a PIX/FLIX

message.

5. Signature

Allows you make/edit a signature to automatically send with your TXT

messages.

To add new applications, and send and receive an Instant Message at

any time:

1. Press [MENU], , .

• Get New App.

8. Chat

To chat with Internet Messenger users:

1. Press [MENU], , .

• Launch Browser.

MSG Settings

Allows you to configure nine settings for received messages.

1. Press [MENU], [MESSAGING], press Left Soft Key

[Settings].

2. Use to highlight one of the settings and press to select it.
