Setting EZ News Flash service
You can use EZ News Flash with simple settings for no charge. Refer to
“Initializing E-mail and EZweb” (page 24), complete initializing, and then
make settings for EZ News Flash.
Press

in the standby
screen, select the ticker
and press

Setup is complete.
When you complete setup and return to
the standby screen, the message “

” (Please
wait a while for the next distribution), will
be displayed on the ticker.

Turning EZ News Flash off
To turn off EZ News Flash, operate the following directions:

While the standby screen is displayed, press

, select the ticker and



” (Service
termination), and press

)(Select).
Follow the instructions on the screen and turn off the setting.
The setting is turned off, and news distribution will stop.

Changing settings of receiving notifications
You can change the settings of the tone, vibrator, and LED indicator which
notifies EZ News Flash distribution.

While the standby screen is displayed, press


Set each item.
If you do not need notifications when receiving EZ News Flash, set the
item to “OFF.”
