User’s manual NAVIGON 70/71
Options: You can use this button during navigation to access many
more functions. (Refer to "Map options in Navigation mode" on
page 67.)
Phone: Opens the hands-free module
(only NAVIGON Premium 70/71). (Refer to
"Handsfree Module" on page 92.)
Volume: Opens the volume control function. (Refer to "Volume" on
page 64.)
Destination search: Opens the map in Destination search mode.
(Refer to "Map in Destination search mode" on page 68.)
Proximity sensor
The built-in proximity sensor enables more easy and more comfortable
operation of the navigation device: The button bar displays only when
you place your hand near the navigation device. When you take your
hand away again, the button bar disappears.
If your navigation device is a NAVIGON Premium 70/71 or a
NAVIGON Premium 70/71 you may activate the Voice Command
function in the N
AVIGATION window, on the map and in the HANDSFREE
MODULE window by simply touching its case frame.
Configuring the proximity sensor
You can configure the response characteristic of the proximity sensor.
In the N
AVIGATION window tap on Options > Settings > General >
Use proximity sensor. Set the value to Yes.
In the N
AVIGATION window tap on Options > Settings > General >
Reaction Radius in order to define the radius within which the
sensor responds to movements.
In the N
AVIGATION window tap on Options > Settings > General >
Reaction Speed in order to define how quickly or slowly the
proximity sensor is to respond to movements within its response
radius.
