4-9-2 Enable ATIS functionality (ATIS SELECT)
When ATIS is enabled, the following occurs:
• DUAL watch, Tri Watch and scan functions are disabled
• Inland waterways rules require 1 W Tx power on Channels 06, 08, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15,
17, 71, 72, 74, and 77 and 31 if enabled.
To enable/disable ATIS:

1. Select ATIS SETUP, then ATIS SELECT. Press ENTER to display ATIS SELECT ON/OFF.
2. Select ON to turn the ATIS function on.
3. Press the ENTER to conrm your choice and return to the menu.
4-10 Get Buddy
When the GET BUDDY function is enabled, the radio will transmit your LL data to your
Buddies in your BUDDY list each time you release the PTT key. If your buddy also has their
GET BUDDY functioned enabled, your details (USER MMSI (or ATIS MMSI) and LL) will
appear on their radio such as the distance and bearing to you.

2. Select ON or OFF as required, then press ENTER to conrm the selection.
4-11 Track log
Set the distance interval to 25 m, 50 m, or 100 m for recording the track points when
navigating.

1. Select TRACK LOG, then press ENTER, the 25 m, 50 m, 100 m appear on the screen.
2. Select your desired and press ENTER to confirm.
4-12 Erase track
Erase the TRACK HISTORY from the plotter screen.

1. Select ERASE TRACK, then press ENTER, the radio asks for conrmation.
2. Select Yes, then press ENTER to erase the track line of the plotter screen.
4-13 Reset (Reset to factory defaults)
Use RESET to return every setting on the radio to the factory defaults, except your MMSI,
Group MMSIs and ATIS MMSI.
1. Select RESET, press ENTER, the radios asks for conrmation.
2. Select yes, press ENTER to reset the radio and return to the menu.
