awkward silences), you can easily run the audio output from the S8 directly into an external
mixer. To feed the TRAKTOR KONTROL S8's audio output to an external mixer:

In the MAIN OUT section on the S8's rear panel, connect the XLR (or RCA) outputs to
the XLR (or RCA) inputs on the external mixer.
The TRAKTOR KONTROL S8's balanced XLR outputs allow you to connect professional-grade
cables, which are much more resistant to electrical interferences than unbalanced cables, es-
pecially over longer distances.
