15.3. Editing the Tags and Properties of User Preset Files
When you save user Preset les in KOMPLETE KONTROL, they are automatically assigned to
Instruments and Banks depending on the Instrument you are using. To further dene the
attributes of your user Preset les, you can edit the Types and Characters tags as well as the
general properties of the le. This allows you to organize your user content in a meaningful way
and search for your les using the Types and Characters tags in the Library pane.
The Types and Characters tags are also recognized by the MASCHINE Browser. This
way, you can easily nd the user Preset les you saved with KOMPLETE KONTROL in
the User content section of MASCHINE’s Library pane.
The CHARACTERS menu is not available when browsing Effects.
To assign tags to your Preset le and change its properties:
1. Select the Preset le in the Results list and click EDIT in the Control bar to open the Attribute
Editor.
2. Click on TYPES to edit the Types tags for your Preset le.
