TRAKTOR DJ will save the Beat Grid location as a Hotcue point; this is why many tracks
will appear with one white Hotcue button.
When using TRAKTOR DJ's Loop Slicer, The S2's Hotcue buttons 1-4 control Slices and
illuminate green when the mode is engaged. Refer to the section on Using Loops.
When using TRAKTOR DJ's Freeze Mode, The S2's Hotcue buttons 1-4 control Slices and
illuminate blue when the mode is engaged. Refer to the section on Using Move Encoders/
Freeze Mode.
To delete any stored cue points, loops etc., hold the SHIFT button whilst pressing the Hot-
cue button you wish to delete. The button will no longer be backlit.
Setting Hotcue Points
To make a new Hotcue point using the S2:

Press one of the available (non backlit) Hotcue buttons.

The selected Hotcue button will now be backlit blue.
5.2.6 Using Loops
You can use the S2 to perform Loop functions in TRAKTOR DJ by either manually engaging
the LOOP IN/OUT buttons, or by selecting a loop size with the Loop SIZE encoder and pressing
to engage.
