▪ On your S2, the corresponding CUE/REMIX SLOTS button is now dimmed, indicating that
the Remix Slot holds a Sample (which is not audible yet).
4.5.2 Triggering the Sample
Triggering the Sample is as simple as pressing the dimmed CUE/REMIX SLOTS button:
1. Press the dimmed CUE/REMIX SLOTS button to trigger the Sample.
2. Press the button again to mute the relevant Sample Slot. Press once more to unmute it.
3. Press SHIFT + CUE/REMIX SLOTS button to stop the Sample and skip back to start the
next time it is activated.
The Sample is looped. This is because the sample is in Loop mode, which is indicated by the
loop symbol on the left side of the Sample Cell:
The Sample "C3 Bells #1" in Loop mode.
To change the Play Type of the Sample to One-shot mode, the Advanced Panel of the Remix
Deck needs to be opened. Double-click repeatedly on the upper border of the Deck to cycle
through the Deck Layouts until the Advanced Panel becomes visible.
