11.2 Adding a Microphone
Starting from the basic setup, we add here a microphone and show you how to use it on the
MIC channel of TRAKTOR KONTROL 2.
Before you proceed, please follow the steps for the basic setup described in section ↑11.1,
TRAKTOR KONTROL S2 Basic Setup.
Connect Your Microphone to the MIC Socket
The MIC socket and its dedicated GAIN knob.
Before you connect your microphone, make sure that the GAIN/FILTER knob next to the MIC
socket is turned fully down!
1. At the very left on the rear panel of your S2, plug your microphone into the Microphone
socket (MIC) located in the MIC section.
2. Press the MIC ENGAGE button on the left side of the S2's front panel.
3. Gradually bring up the volume with the mic's GAIN control on the rear panel of the S2.
