The Restore button.
Clicking on this button opens a warning message window, asking you if you really want to reset
TRAKTOR KONTROL S2 to its default factory settings.

Click Yes to confirm resetting TRAKTOR KONTROL S2 to its default settings. Click No to
go back to the Preferences window without changing anything.

Upon confirmation, all TRAKTOR KONTROL S2 settings will be restored to default. You
are now ready to start again with a fresh TRAKTOR KONTROL S2.
At any time, you can start the Setup Wizard to setup a fresh Deck and Controller selection.
Simply select Start Setup Wizard in the Help menu of TRAKTOR’s Application Menu Bar
(to see this bar, Fullscreen mode must be deactivated). See section ↑8.4, The Setup Wiz-
ard for more info on the Setup Wizard.
8.2.3 Calibration
The Calibration section allows you to perform the calibration for various knobs and faders on
your S2, in order to correct potential inaccuracies of both center position (for the knobs) and
range of the control elements.

The calibration can be done separately for four groups of control elements, each of them pro-
posing its own Recalibrate button:
▪ FX Knobs: for recalibrating the FX DRY/WET knob and FX Knobs 1-3 on both FX Units.
▪ EQ Knobs: for recalibrating EQs and FILTER knobs on all channels of the Mixer.
