Control element Function
CUE button Stopped Samples: Press & hold to trigger Sample Slots. Upon release, playback
stops and skips back to start.
Playing Samples: Press to retrigger Samples.*
SYNC button Re-synchronizes Samples in Looped mode with the current tempo master. *
SHIFT button Press and hold: gives access to secondary functions of other control elements.

Control element Function
MAIN LEVEL knob Adjusts the level of the signal sent to the Main Outputs of the S4.
MAIN LEVEL meters Give a visual feedback on the pre-knob level of your mix.
Orange LEDs light up when the signal is clipping or when the limiter
kicks in on the software side.
