Control element Function
REMIX SLOTS buttons Unlit: empty Sample Slot. Press to load a Sample from the capture source at
current playback position (if playback is within an active Loop, the Loop is cop-
ied).
Press SHIFT + button to load the Sample selected in the Playlist.
Dimmed: Sample loaded but stopped or muted.
Lit: Sample playing.
Sample in Loop mode: Press to start/mute/unmute the Sample. Press and hold
for one second to stop playback and reset it to start position.
Sample in One-shot mode: Press to start playback. Press again to stop playback
and reset it to start position.
SHIFT + dimmed/lit button: unloads Sample from Sample Slot (button turns
back off).
Hotcue buttons 1-4
Unlit: empty Sample Slot. Press to load a Sample from the track at current
playback position, in Loop mode and stopped.
LED color: green for Looped mode, blue for One-shot mode.
Dimmed: Sample loaded and stopped. Press & hold to trigger the Sample. Upon
release, playback stops and skips back to start.
Lit: Sample playing (LED’s brightness follows Sample level). Press to retrigger
the Sample.
In Legacy mode
SHIFT + lit/dimmed button: activate Edit mode for Sample Slot (button starts
flashing), where you can use the Loop MOVE and Loop SIZE encoders to control
volume and filter settings for the Sample. Press SHIFT + button again to deacti-
vate Edit mode.
In Remix mode
SHIFT + lit/dimmed button: selects the next Sample Cell in the Sample Slot.

PLAY button
Press to start playback of Sample Slots. Press again to stop playback and reset
it to start position.*
